I engaged Irène Suter-Sieber of Walder Wyss AG for guidance on a complex non-compete agreement and severance negotiation with my former employer in Detroit. She provided a solid, strategically sound framework for our counter-proposals. However, the practical application sometimes felt distant. Given her primary practice is in Zürich, there were noticeable delays in email responses, often a full business day or more, which added stress during time-sensitive discussions. While her final advice was excellent and rooted in deep expertise, managing expectations around availability and the local nuances of Michigan employment law could have been better. For straightforward matters requiring high-level strategy, she is capable, but for clients needing frequent, immediate contact, the logistical aspects may fall short of expectations.
