Howard Hagen's deep knowledge of Iowa banking law is evident. Our community bank consulted him regarding a regulatory compliance issue stemming from a recent acquisition. With his 25 years of experience across the state, he efficiently navigated the specific Iowa regulations and provided a solid legal framework for our resolution. However, the process felt somewhat transactional. While his advice was technically sound, we sometimes experienced delays in receiving responses to follow-up emails, which added unnecessary stress to our timeline. His expertise in corporate governance for financial institutions is undeniable, but clearer communication on process and expectations would have elevated the experience. For straightforward banking legal matters in Iowa, he is a competent choice, though you may need to be proactive in managing the communication flow.
