Competent on IP matter, but communication could improve

I engaged Harry Hanson at WilmerHale to assist with a trademark opposition proceeding. His background from Boston College Law School and his firm's reputation in intellectual property litigation were significant factors in my choice. Harry demonstrated a clear understanding of the legal nuances involved, and his analysis of the opposing party's claims was thorough. It's evident why he has been recognized in the Litigation - Intellectual Property field. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal work was solid, there were periods where responses to emails took longer than expected, leaving me to follow up. The strategy was sound, but I sometimes felt I had to prompt for updates on case progress. For straightforward IP disputes, he is certainly capable, but managing client expectations on communication timelines could be enhanced.
