Competent on zoning issue, communication could improve

I hired Harman Dhanoa at Perkins Coie to assist with a conditional use permit for a small commercial property in Phoenix. His knowledge of land use and zoning regulations was evident, and he successfully navigated the city's planning department. His recognition in that specific area is well-deserved. However, the experience was mixed. While the legal work was solid, response times to emails were sometimes slower than expected, and I occasionally felt I had to follow up for updates. For straightforward real estate or zoning matters, he is certainly capable, but clearer communication about process and timelines would have made a significant difference.
