Gregg Dorman at Nixon Peabody handled the commercial lease review for my small business expansion in Chicago. His background in real estate law was evident; he efficiently identified several critical clauses in the landlord's agreement that needed revision, which was reassuring given his recognition in this field. The final documents were solid. However, the experience was mixed. There were periods of several days where I received no updates, requiring me to follow up, and the process felt a bit slower than I had anticipated. For a straightforward transaction, his legal expertise is adequate, but you should be prepared to manage your own expectations regarding responsiveness. He is knowledgeable, but the client service aspect could be more consistent.
