Competent and knowledgeable, but communication was inconsistent

Gina Janeiro represented our mid-sized manufacturing company in a wrongful termination dispute. Her deep knowledge of Minnesota employment law was evident, and her 20 years of experience, including her specialist certification, provided solid footing. The outcome was ultimately favorable. However, the process felt uneven. While her strategic advice was sound, there were periods where we waited days for responses to time-sensitive emails, and updates often came from junior associates rather than directly from her. For a firm principal with her recognition in Labor and Employment management, we expected more consistent client engagement. She is clearly a capable attorney, but the overall service experience was just adequate for the premium rate.
