Our small renewable energy company needed counsel for a complex permitting process involving both state coastal regulations and federal wetlands considerations for a new project in Maine. We engaged Georgia Bolduc at Pierce Atwood based on a colleague's recommendation, and we were very impressed with her command of the intricate legal landscape. Her background from Boston University School of Law and her focus on environmental law were immediately evident. She didn't just recite statutes; she explained the practical implications for our project timeline and budget, which was invaluable. Her recent recognition in environmental law is clearly well-deserved. Georgia was thorough, patient with our many questions, and ultimately helped us secure the necessary permits with fewer hurdles than we anticipated. The one area where we experienced a slight delay was in receiving draft revisions; sometimes there was a 2-3 business day lag in email responses during her busiest periods. That said, when we did connect, her attention to detail was absolute. Her five years of experience, particularly with Maine's specific regulatory environment, felt much deeper. We felt confidently represented and would certainly work with her again for future infrastructure projects.
