Deborah Parker
I engaged George Freeman and his firm for a complex FINRA arbitration involving allegations of unsuitable investment recommendations. His deep knowledge of securities litigation was immediately apparent. With over four decades of experience and his recent 'Lawyer of the Year' recognitions, he clearly knows this field inside and out. The legal strategy he developed was sound, and we achieved an acceptable settlement. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. While Mr. Freeman was always prepared in our meetings, communication between those meetings was sometimes slow, with responses taking several days. For a matter that was very urgent to me, this created some anxiety. His billing was precise, but the overall cost was significant, which is worth noting. He is undoubtedly a highly competent attorney in the broker-dealer defense space, but managing client expectations on responsiveness could be improved.
