Competent on data security, but communication could improve
I engaged Geneviève Laliberté at Fasken for guidance on a data breach notification protocol for my Colorado-based tech startup. However, the experience was mixed. While the final work product was solid, there were significant delays in receiving drafts, and responses to follow-up emails often took several business days. Yet, if you require frequent updates or are on a tight timeline, you may need to set very clear expectations from the outset regarding communication cadence.
