Experienced and capable, but communication could improve

Gene Ciancio handled my civil litigation matter stemming from a property dispute. With over 50 years in practice, his deep knowledge of Colorado law was evident, and his firm's recognition in personal injury and civil litigation is well-deserved. He was competent and achieved a reasonable settlement. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Response times to emails were slower than expected, and I sometimes had to follow up for updates. While I appreciate his vast experience from the University of Denver and his founding role at the firm, clearer communication about timelines and strategy would have made a significant difference. He's a solid attorney, but manage your expectations on client service.
