Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I engaged Galit Kierkut at Greenberg Traurig for a complex non-compete and trade secret dispute. Her deep experience in commercial and employment litigation was evident, and her background from the University of Pennsylvania is impressive. She provided solid legal strategy and her recognition by Best Lawyers is well-deserved. However, for the premium rate, I expected more proactive communication. There were periods of waiting for updates that felt longer than necessary. The legal outcome was satisfactory, but the process felt somewhat transactional. She is undoubtedly a skilled attorney in Florham Park, but managing client expectations could be enhanced.
