Competent on employment issues, but communication could improve

I hired Gabrielle Giombetti at Fisher Phillips to advise on a complex non-compete agreement and potential separation from my former employer in Philadelphia. During our engagement, Gabrielle's legal analysis of the agreement's enforceability under Pennsylvania law was thorough and precise. She clearly understood the nuances, and her advice was strategically sound, which gave me confidence. However, the experience was somewhat mixed on the service side. There were periods where responses to my emails took longer than I expected, sometimes several business days, which added to my anxiety during a stressful time. While her written work product was excellent, I sometimes felt I had to initiate follow-up to get updates on the case's progress. For straightforward legal matters, her expertise from Penn State Dickinson Law is evident, and she knows employment law. For clients who need that deep, recognized knowledge but are comfortable with a more self-directed communication style, she is a competent attorney. My situation was resolved adequately, but the process required more proactive checking in on my part than I anticipated.
