He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he earned his undergraduate degree in political science.Mike worked as an assistant state’s attorney in the Cook County State Attorney’s Office from 1995 to 1998 and then became an associate attorney for Rekowski & Associates. He also worked as an attorney for Madison County Public Defender from 1999 to 2004.In addition to his responsibilities at the firm, Mike has also worked for the Madison County State Attorney’s Office as assistant state’s attorney in the felony division.
