Raymond Reed
I engaged Fred Klein of Pullman & Comley to assist with a complex interconnection agreement for a small renewable energy project. With his 46 years of experience and his recent recognition as Lawyer of the Year in Energy Law, his technical knowledge of Connecticut's regulatory landscape was evident and provided solid footing for our case. He clearly understands the intricacies of both energy and water law. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal strategy was sound, there were periods where communication lagged, making it difficult to get timely updates on procedural steps. Responses to emails sometimes took several days, and fee explanations, while ultimately accurate, were not as clear upfront as I would have liked. For straightforward regulatory compliance, his deep background is an asset, but be prepared to manage expectations around client service and accessibility.
