Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I engaged Frank Morreale at Holland & Knight to handle a complex commercial dispute involving a supplier contract. His 19 years of experience and recognition in Commercial Litigation were evident; his grasp of the legal strategy was solid and he achieved a reasonable settlement. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. While his expertise in insurance litigation likely informs his risk assessment, I sometimes experienced delays in receiving updates and found responses to non-urgent emails could take several days. For straightforward matters requiring deep knowledge, he is certainly capable. Just be prepared to manage your own expectations regarding the pace and frequency of communication.
