Sarah Thomas
Our company recently engaged Rivers Lelong to guide us through the acquisition of a smaller competitor in the Gulf Coast region. With over three decades of experience, his deep knowledge of transactional law was immediately evident. He didn't just review documents; he provided strategic counsel that considered our long-term operational goals and corporate compliance posture, an area where his repeated 'Lawyer of the Year' recognitions clearly speak to his standing. His background at a firm like Jones Walker, with its strong regional presence, proved invaluable for navigating Louisiana-specific regulatory nuances. The deal closed successfully, and his calm, methodical approach was a steadying force throughout. If there was one minor critique, it would be that his high level of demand can sometimes lead to a slight delay in email responses, though his associate was always available as a capable backup. For any significant corporate matter in New Orleans, Rivers is an excellent choice who inspires confidence.
