Adequate representation for a complex energy contract

Mr. Elrod's deep expertise in energy law, honed over five decades since his start at the FPC, is undeniable. His recent 'Lawyer of the Year' recognitions are well-earned. He handled our midstream gas contract negotiation with a firm grasp of the regulatory landscape. However, for a firm of Bracewell's stature, the process felt less personalized than expected. Communication sometimes lagged, with junior associates stepping in during delays. While the final outcome was solid, the client experience was more transactional. You are paying for his immense institutional knowledge, but don't expect constant, direct access from the practice co-head himself.
