Experienced and knowledgeable, but communication could be more consistent

I engaged Mr. Santucci and the team at Goodwin for guidance on a complex Series B financing round for my tech startup. With his four decades of experience and recognition in securities and capital markets law, his substantive advice on the term sheet and regulatory compliance was impeccable. He clearly knows the Boston corporate landscape inside and out. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While his expertise was never in doubt, I often found myself waiting for responses to time-sensitive emails, and updates sometimes came through junior associates rather than directly from him. For a matter of this significance, I expected more consistent, senior-level communication. The work product was solid, but the process felt less hands-on than anticipated given his partner status and extensive background. He is undoubtedly a capable attorney, but the client service aspect didn't fully match the high level of his legal acumen.
