My husband and I engaged Erica Dobkowski at Mallor Grodner Plummer to help us create a comprehensive estate plan, including wills, powers of attorney, and a living trust. From our initial consultation, it was clear that her eight years of experience, particularly in the trusts and estates practice she focuses on, provided a strong foundation. She explained complex concepts, like the implications of Indiana's inheritance laws on our blended family, with remarkable clarity. Her background, having started as a clerk with the firm and risen through the ranks, gave us confidence in her deep institutional knowledge. The recognition she has received in this specific field is well-deserved. Erica was patient, listened carefully to our concerns, and crafted documents that reflected our precise wishes, giving us significant peace of mind. The only minor critique, and the reason for four instead of five stars, is that during the final drafting phase, there were a couple of instances where follow-up emails took a bit longer to receive a response than we had hoped, which added a slight delay to the process. Overall, we felt thoroughly supported and would recommend her services to anyone in the Bloomington area seeking thoughtful and meticulous estate planning.
