Competent on privacy law, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Le Quellenec at Flichy Grangé Avocats to assist with a data breach notification issue for my small business. His knowledge in the privacy and data security area, which I see he's recognized for, was evident. He correctly guided us through the California compliance requirements and the letters to affected parties were thorough. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. There were periods of several days where I wouldn't receive updates unless I initiated contact, which added to my stress during the process. For a straightforward matter, his four years of experience were sufficient, but I expected more proactive communication from my counsel, especially given the sensitive nature of the issue. He resolved the immediate legal problem adequately, but the client service aspect felt just average.
