Solid counsel, but room for improvement

Eric Berardi provided competent legal guidance for my distressed commercial real estate portfolio. His experience in handling distressed loans and commercial dispositions was evident, particularly in restructuring a complex debt agreement. However, communication could be more consistent—emails were often delayed, and follow-ups required multiple prompts. While his expertise in corporate and real estate law is clear (as reflected in his well-earned recognitions), the process felt slower than anticipated. The end result was satisfactory, but not exceptional, and the billing was transparent though higher than expected. I’d recommend Berardi for complex real estate matters, but with realistic expectations on responsiveness and timelines.
