Emily Stout

Emily Stout is an employment law specialist who is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She litigates all aspects of employment, labor, business, and commercial cases in federal and state courts, arbitration tribunals, appellate courts, and administrative agencies, including the EEOC, and DOL, on behalf of corporate and individual clients.She advises clients on employment policies, practices, training, and employee benefits. Ms. Stout conducts investigations of employee complaints on behalf of employers and drafts, reviews and negotiates employment, settlement, severance, and business contracts.Ms. Stout litigates employment law cases, including non-compete disputes, breach of contract cases, wage and hour claims, ERISA and disability, age and Title VII discrimination/retaliation matters on behalf of both employers and employees. She has significant experience with the expedited process necessitated by many non-compete matters. She frequently represents executives in employment contract negotiations and in obtaining disability leave benefits. Ms. Stout is also a mediator in employment and business cases.
