Excellent Appellate Advocate with Room to Improve

I had the pleasure of working with Emily Barnet on a complex appellate case, and her expertise in appellate practice was immediately apparent. Graduating from Yale Law School and being recognized by Best Lawyers since 2024 speaks volumes about her capability, and she certainly delivered. Emily's deep understanding of appellate strategy and her meticulous approach to legal research were invaluable in crafting a compelling brief. Her arguments were sharp, well-reasoned, and persuasive, which ultimately contributed to a favorable outcome. While her legal acumen is top-tier, I did notice that her response time to emails could be a bit quicker, especially during high-stakes phases of the case. Additionally, while her fees were justified by her expertise, they were on the higher side, which could be a consideration for clients with tighter budgets. Overall, Emily is an outstanding attorney in appellate practice, and I would highly recommend her for any high-stakes appeal.
