Competent but communication could be more consistent

Elizabeth Erickson represented our small manufacturing company in a wrongful termination lawsuit. Her knowledge of Wisconsin labor and employment law is evident, and her background with Jackson Lewis PC provided solid resources. She successfully navigated the litigation to a settlement, which was our primary goal. Her recognition in the field, like the Lawyer of the Year awards noted online, speaks to her legal acumen. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. While she was always prepared for our meetings, there were periods where we experienced significant delays in receiving updates, leaving us to follow up multiple times. For straightforward legal strategy, she is certainly capable. Yet, for a client who values proactive communication and a more collaborative partnership in managing a stressful legal dispute, the service felt adequate rather than exceptional. Her seven years of experience showed in her courtroom composure, but the client management aspect could be more refined.
