A Master Strategist in Complex Regulatory Litigation

When our publicly traded energy company faced a high-stakes, multi-agency regulatory enforcement action, the board knew we needed the most seasoned counsel available. We turned to Ned Bergin at Jones Walker, and it was the definitive decision. With over five decades of experience, Ned possesses a profound understanding of the regulatory landscape that is simply unmatched. He didn't just react to the SEC and energy commission inquiries; he anticipated their moves and crafted a defense strategy that was both brilliantly aggressive and meticulously detailed. His deep knowledge, honed from years of practice in New Orleans, gave him unique insights into the local and federal interplay. The recent recognition as 'Lawyer of the Year' is well-deserved, as his guidance led to a settlement that protected our shareholders and our operational future. Ned’s professionalism is absolute, and his calm, strategic demeanor instilled confidence at every stressful turn. He is the epitome of a trusted advisor.
