Experienced and capable, but communication could improve

I hired Douglas Sakaguchi at Pfeifer, Morgan & Stesiak after a significant car accident in South Bend. With his 28 years of experience and recognition in Personal Injury Litigation, I felt confident in his legal strategy. He clearly knows the Indiana courts well, and his background from Valparaiso University showed in his thorough case preparation. The outcome of my settlement was fair and professionally handled. However, the experience was just adequate in other areas. There were often delays in getting responses to emails or calls, and updates on my case status were infrequent unless I initiated contact. While I appreciate his expertise and the firm's solid reputation, better client communication would have made a significant difference. He is a competent attorney who gets results, but managing client expectations is an area for improvement.
