Edward Lewis
We engaged Mr. Waldorf to handle a commercial real estate lease negotiation for our small business in Naples. His deep experience, particularly his background as in-house counsel for a major bank and his recognition in real estate law, was evident. He understood the financial and legal intricacies immediately, and the final documents were solid. However, our experience was mixed. While his substantive knowledge is unquestionable, communication was sometimes a challenge. Responses to emails could take several days, and we often felt we had to follow up to get updates. For straightforward matters, his expertise is a significant asset, but if you require frequent touchpoints or are on a tight timeline, you may need to set very clear expectations. He is undoubtedly competent, but the service aspect felt just adequate for the premium rate.
