Prior to joining the firm, he managed another Albuquerque law firm focusing his efforts on the defense of individuals accused of serious crimes.
He was appointed by the State of New Mexico to represent hundreds of criminal defendants through the first seven years of his practice of law, and tried dozens of those cases to juries in New Mexico.
