Diana McKenzie is a partner and chair of HunterMaclean’s information technology and outsourcing practice group. She is internationally recognized for her work in information technology and outsourcing matters and is best known for her ability to provide practical, efficient, and strategic legal counsel. For over twenty-five years, Diana has practiced exclusively in information technology and outsourcing law.

Diana is also known for her work in data privacy and has significant experience with the security breach notification laws.

She has given over 150 speeches in thirty-three cities across the United States and in fourteen countries in Europe, South America, and Australia.
Diana has published over fifty articles in various periodicals such as the Stanford Journal of Law, Business & Finance, The Licensing Journal, Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal, and the Computer and Internet Lawyer. She has been quoted over 100 times in various periodicals such as the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Miami Herald, and Computerworld Magazine. Diana also has a background in computer programming.
Diana graduated from Kenyon College, magna cum laude, with honors in Political Science in 1981. She earned both her M.B.A. and J.D.
from Emory University in 1985. Prior to joining HunterMaclean, she practiced in a major Chicago law firm where she founded and ran the information technology practice group. Other leadership experience includes running the U.S.
