Competent but Needs Improvement

I hired Devon F. Ferris to handle a complex commercial litigation case, and while she demonstrated a solid grasp of the law and an impressive legal background—especially given her recognition in Commercial Litigation—there were some areas where the experience fell short. Her legal arguments were well-researched, and her expertise in Insurance Law proved valuable in navigating the nuances of our case. However, communication could have been more proactive. I often had to follow up to get updates, and wait times for responses were longer than expected. While the outcome was eventually favorable, the process felt a bit disjointed. For a more streamlined experience, I’d recommend setting clear expectations upfront. Overall, Devon is competent, but there’s room for growth in client management.
