I hired Deanna Okun-Nachoff to assist with an H-1B visa transfer for my spouse. With her 11 years focused exclusively on immigration law, her expertise in the field is evident. She was thorough in preparing our application and clearly understands the complexities of U.S. immigration procedures. Her recognition in tax law also proved helpful for some cross-over financial documentation questions. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal work was solid, response times to emails were slower than expected, sometimes taking several business days. Updates on case progress felt reactive rather than proactive. For straightforward matters, her competence is reliable, but if you require frequent communication, you may need to set very clear expectations from the outset. The case was ultimately resolved successfully.
