David Durm at Barnes & Thornburg provided solid legal counsel for a commercial lease negotiation I was handling for my small business in Indianapolis. His 27 years of experience, including his recognized background in real estate law, were evident in his thorough review of the property documents and his strategic advice on key clauses. He clearly knows the landscape. However, the process felt somewhat transactional. There were occasional delays in email responses, and at times I felt I had to follow up to get updates on his progress. While the final outcome was satisfactory and he worked efficiently as his profile suggests, the client experience itself was just adequate. For straightforward matters, his deep expertise is a definite asset, but you may need to be proactive in managing the communication flow.
