Competent estate planning, but communication could improve

I hired David Henry at Houston Harbaugh to assist with updating my will and establishing a trust after a significant life event. His recognition in Trusts and Estates by Best Lawyers was a key factor in my selection, and it's clear he has a solid foundational knowledge of the relevant Pennsylvania statutes. The documents he drafted were thorough and addressed the complexities of my blended family situation. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the final product was professionally done, the process felt somewhat impersonal. There were noticeable delays in email responses, sometimes taking several business days, which added to my anxiety during the planning phase. Our meetings, though efficient, felt a bit rushed, and I sometimes left with unanswered questions that I had to follow up on later. For a straightforward estate plan, David is certainly capable and his firm has a good reputation in Pittsburgh. My expectations for proactive communication and client guidance, perhaps shaped by more senior attorneys, weren't fully met. He completed the legal work competently, but the overall client service experience was just adequate.
