He has been involved in merger and acquisition transactions in the insurance industry, involving a variety of insurance entities, including stock and mutual insurers, reciprocals, and agencies. Mr.
Blachly provides regulatory and corporate advice on issues involving company formation and licensing, agent licensing, company examinations, investment laws, reinsurance, and holding company compliance. He earned his J.D. from Indiana University’s Robert H.
McKinney School of Law. He is a member of the American, Indiana State, and Indianapolis Bar Associations. He has been a past chairman of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers.
