Solid but could be smoother

I worked with David Foster on a complex commercial financing matter, and while he clearly has deep expertise in banking and finance law—evidenced by his Lawyer of the Year recognition—our communication could have been more structured. The legal strategy was sound, and his experience with restructuring was undeniable, but I wish I had been kept more in the loop about delays and case progress. The final outcome was favorable, but the journey felt a bit inconsistent. For someone with 28 years in the field, I expected a more polished client experience. Still, the legal work itself was highly competent.
