Darin Conklin

Darin received his B.A. degree in Accounting from Washburn University in 1988. Thereafter, he attended Washburn University School of Law, graduating with honors in 1991. Darin is admitted to practice before the Bars of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, and the State of Kansas. He is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and Topeka Bar Association (TBA). Darin associated with the firm in 1987 as a law clerk, and continued with the firm as an attorney upon graduation from law school in 1991. In 1995, Darin received the TBA’s Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year Award, and in 1996 he became a partner with the firm. Darin’s practice currently emphasizes business and administrative law. Darin actively practices before numerous administrative agencies in matters related to business operations. In addition, Darin is actively and extensively involved in the workers’ compensation arena, representing employers, insurance companies, individuals and the Kansas Workers Compensation Fund in the litigation of claims before the Division of Workers’ Compensation, the Appeals Board and the appellate courts, and serves as General Counsel for the Kansas Board of Accountancy.
