Competent on immigration case, but communication was inconsistent

I hired Daniel Kingwell of Kingwell Immigration Law PC to assist with my H-1B visa transfer. His firm's focus on immigration law was clear, and his profile, noting recognition in the field, gave me confidence. Mr. Kingwell demonstrated a solid understanding of the complex regulations, and the petition was ultimately approved. However, my experience was mixed. While he was knowledgeable during our consultations, there were significant gaps in communication. Responses to emails often took several days, and updates on case status were infrequent, leaving me to initiate follow-ups. For a process as stressful as immigration, more proactive communication would have been greatly appreciated. The legal work itself seemed thorough, but managing client expectations and maintaining a steady flow of information felt like an area for improvement. He is clearly an expert in his niche in Atlanta, but the overall client service aspect didn't quite match the depth of his legal expertise. The outcome was successful, which is paramount, but the journey there was more anxious than it needed to be.
