Competent real estate attorney, but communication could improve

I hired Daniel J. Noice from Barnes & Thornburg to assist with a complex residential property purchase in Atlanta that involved a title dispute. His background in real estate law, including his recent recognitions in the field, was evident in his handling of the legal intricacies. He was thorough with the documentation and clearly understood Georgia real estate statutes. However, my experience was mixed. While the legal outcome was satisfactory, there were noticeable delays in receiving responses to emails, sometimes taking several business days. This created some anxiety during time-sensitive phases of the transaction. Setting expectations around communication timelines at the outset would have been helpful. For straightforward legal expertise, particularly given his University of Georgia law background and focus on real estate, he is capable. Just be prepared to manage the process proactively if your matter requires frequent updates.
