A formidable advocate in a complex corporate investigation

Our company retained Dan Small when we faced a daunting, multi-agency investigation into our billing practices. From the outset, his deep experience was evident. The recognition he has received in these fields is well-deserved. Dan and his team at Holland & Knight were meticulous, strategic, and instilled confidence during a very stressful period. The matter was resolved favorably without litigation, which was our primary goal. The only minor critique, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that the billing structure, while comprehensive, felt somewhat opaque at times. A bit more granularity in the initial cost projections would have been helpful. That said, his expertise from Harvard Law and over a decade of practice was worth the investment. We would engage him again without hesitation for high-stakes corporate or compliance matters.
