Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I hired Dan Glasser from Pollock Begg to handle a complex child custody modification in Philadelphia. His 15 years of experience in Family Law were immediately apparent; he was very knowledgeable about the local court procedures and presented a solid strategy. It's clear why he's been recognized in the field. The outcome of my case was ultimately fair, which is the most important thing. However, my experience was mixed on the service side. While Dan was sharp in our meetings, there were often significant delays in getting email responses or call-backs, sometimes stretching to several business days. This created anxiety during an already stressful process. For a straightforward legal matter, his expertise would likely be more than sufficient. In my situation, which involved coordinating with a child psychologist's evaluation, I sometimes felt I had to push for updates on how that information was being integrated into our filings. He is a capable attorney who knows Pennsylvania family law inside and out, but managing client expectations and maintaining consistent communication are areas where the experience fell short of the high level of his legal acumen.
