Competent on the case, but communication was inconsistent

However, the experience was mixed. There were periods where responses to emails took several days, and I sometimes felt I had to follow up to get updates on procedural steps. For a straightforward matter, his one year of focused experience was adequate, and the outcome was acceptable. I believe he has the foundational skills from his education and firm training, but the client service aspect needs more polish to match the firm's reputation. He's capable, but set clear expectations on communication timelines from the start.
