Bio

I am incredibly fortunate to have a career helping people navigate government regulation so they can start, grow and sustain a business. For more than three decades, I have practiced regulatory and government relations law, supporting clients in the commercial gaming industry, financial services institutions, as well as telecommunication, energy and water utility companies and their customers.I focus on helping businesses with transactions, regulatory compliance and in licensing and other proceedings before administrative agencies, boards and commissions. I also have experience in government procurement disputes, judicial review of government action, and eminent domain cases. Before starting in private law practice, I was with the Office of the Attorney General of Nevada. There, I represented state agencies and officials, including the Nevada Gaming Commission, the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the State Departments of Transportation, Agriculture, Corrections, Minerals, Transportation and Wildlife, and the Nevada Commissions on Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Protection.I have been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Energy Law and Gaming Law; as a “Leading Lawyer for Business” by Chambers USA; and by Mountain States Super Lawyers® in the field of Gaming. I am AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated (the highest rating available), by Martindale-Hubbell.
