Competent real estate transaction, but communication could improve

Crystal Walls handled the refinancing of our small commercial property in Birmingham. With her 21 years of experience and recognition in real estate law, I was confident in her technical ability to navigate the loan documentation and title issues. Her background at Dentons Sirote and focus on real estate finance were evident; the closing proceeded without legal hiccups. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. Response times to emails were occasionally slower than expected, sometimes taking a few business days, which added a bit of stress during a time-sensitive process. While she capably addressed my questions when we spoke, I would have appreciated more proactive updates on the file's status. For straightforward commercial real estate matters, she gets the job done competently, but the client service aspect felt just adequate.
