I engaged Courtney Foltz at McGrath North to assist with restructuring my family's small manufacturing business and updating our estate plans, a project that clearly aligns with her recognized expertise in closely held companies and trusts. Her technical knowledge is evident, and she provided sound, practical advice on the tax implications of our decisions. The documents she drafted were thorough and precise. However, the experience was somewhat mixed on the service side. There were periods where responses to emails took longer than expected, sometimes several business days, which created anxiety during time-sensitive phases. While she was always clear in our meetings, I sometimes felt I had to initiate follow-ups to get status updates. For straightforward legal matters, her competence is solid, and her recognition by Best Lawyers in these specific fields is well-deserved. For clients who value deep expertise and don't mind a more hands-off communication style between milestones, she is a capable attorney in the Omaha area. My expectations for proactive communication and responsiveness were only partially met, which is why my rating reflects a good, but not exceptional, overall experience.
