Competent handling of a commercial dispute, but communication was inconsistent

Connor Herfurth at Balch & Bingham handled a commercial contract dispute for my small business. His background in Commercial Litigation, and the recognition he's received in that area, gave me confidence in his technical ability. He clearly understood the nuances of the case and provided a solid legal strategy. The outcome was ultimately favorable, which is the most important thing. However, the experience was marked by inconsistent communication. There were periods where I had to follow up multiple times for updates, and responses to emails were sometimes delayed by several days. For a client navigating a stressful legal situation, more proactive updates would have been appreciated. While his legal work was sound, the client service aspect felt just adequate. He is a knowledgeable attorney, especially for someone with his level of experience, but managing client expectations could be improved.
