A solid, experienced attorney for regulatory matters

I engaged Mr. Pinyan and the team at Brooks, Pierce to assist my medical practice with a complex compliance issue involving state health department regulations. His three decades of experience, particularly in the health care and administrative law arenas where he is recognized, were immediately evident. He provided a thorough analysis of the regulatory landscape and crafted a well-reasoned strategy. The outcome was ultimately favorable. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. While his advice was sound, communication was not always proactive; I often had to follow up for updates, and responses could take several business days. For a matter that was quite urgent for my business, the pace and lack of regular touchpoints were a source of stress. His deep knowledge from his University of Chicago legal training is undeniable, and he is clearly a respected figure in Greensboro's legal community for government regulation matters. I would describe him as highly competent and effective in the substantive work, but the client service aspect and management of expectations were merely adequate. He is a good choice for those who need expert guidance and can manage the process independently.
