I hired Christopher Nace to assist with a small business contract dispute that had some personal liability concerns. His background from Georgetown and Emory Law, particularly his editorial role, was evident in the meticulous contract review he performed. He identified several critical loopholes that another attorney had missed. His general practice experience in both Chicago and DC meant he was familiar with the interstate commerce aspects of my issue. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the legal work itself was solid, there were often significant delays in getting responses to my emails or calls. Setting up follow-up meetings required more persistence than I expected. For straightforward legal analysis, Chris is clearly knowledgeable. My expectations for a more collaborative and communicative client relationship, especially given the personal stakes involved in my case, weren't fully met. He resolved the contractual matter adequately, but the process felt more transactional than I had hoped. I would recommend him for clear-cut document review, but advise future clients to establish very clear communication protocols upfront.
