Experienced and capable, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Larmoyeux to handle a complex personal injury case following a multi-vehicle accident on I-95. With his 24 years of experience and his recognition as a Lawyer of the Year in this field, I felt confident in his legal strategy and courtroom knowledge. His analysis of the medical reports and his negotiation with the insurance adjusters was clearly handled by a seasoned professional. Ultimately, we reached a settlement that was fair, which was the primary goal. However, the process itself was sometimes frustrating. There were periods of several weeks where updates were sparse, and I often had to follow up multiple times to get a response from his assistant. While I never doubted his expertise, especially given his background from Notre Dame and his accolades, managing client expectations regarding timelines and communication seems to be an area for improvement. For straightforward legal matters where you need a solid attorney in Miami, he is competent, but be prepared to be proactive in staying informed about your case's progress.
