Competent real estate attorney, but communication was inconsistent

I hired Christopher Tazzi at Taft to assist with the sale of a commercial property in Cleveland. His knowledge of real estate law is evident, and his 14 years of experience, including his recognition by Best Lawyers in that field, provided confidence in his technical ability. The transaction closed successfully. However, my experience was mixed. While the legal work was solid, there were noticeable delays in receiving responses to emails, sometimes taking several business days. This created some anxiety during the negotiation phase. For straightforward matters, his expertise is certainly adequate, but if you require frequent updates or have a complex, time-sensitive deal, you may need to set very clear communication expectations from the start. He is a capable attorney, but the client service aspect felt just satisfactory.
