We engaged Christopher Elam at Farrow-Gillespie Heath Wilmoth to handle the acquisition of a smaller competitor here in Dallas. With his 15 years of experience and background in corporate and transactional law, he was exactly the right fit. Christopher guided us meticulously through the entire process, from due diligence to finalizing the asset purchase agreement. His deep understanding of the practicalities of business law, likely honed at SMU and through his recognized work in corporate law, was evident. He anticipated several intellectual property licensing issues we hadn't considered, showcasing the breadth of his expertise. Christopher is a sharp, personable attorney who makes complex matters understandable. The only slight drawback was that during the busiest weeks, response times to non-urgent emails could stretch to 48 hours. That said, the quality of the final work was exceptional and well worth it. He's become our go-to counsel for significant corporate matters.
